Anti-Harassment in the Workplace

This course will meet the California compliance requirements SB1825, AB2053, Micro-Aggression, and Violence in the Workplace. This course will define what constitutes harassment or
offensive behaviors in the work environment. We will discuss strategies for prevention and professional and personal liabilities.

You will Learn

The definition of sexual harassment under Title VII and FEHA
Federal and State statues and case law prohibiting and prevention
Type of harassment that constitutes harassment with practical examples
Definition of “abusive conduct” under state law
Prevention strategies
Information about preventing abusive conduct and harassment based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression
Supervisor, Management responsibilities
An explanation of limited confidentiality of the complaint and investigation process
Questions that assess learning, skill-building activities
Remedies and resources available for victims
Correction measures
Employer must include anti-harassment policy
