SUMMARY:Human Resources Luncheon: Empowering Leaders to Enhance Organizational Performance
DESCRIPTION:A primary role of the human resource function is to help its organization's personnel operate more efficiently and effectively. Leaders throughout the organization fulfill this role by adopting and promoting mindsets designed to maximize engagement\, innovation\, agility\, and productivity.\n\n \n\nOn Thursday\, May 16th\, 2019\, the IBC is hosting its quarterly Human Resources Luncheon that will focus on empowering leaders of all levels to enhance organizational performance.  \n\n \n\nThe IBC welcomes guest speaker Ryan Gottfredson\, Ph.D\, author and leadership and management professor at Cal State Fullerton\, who will provide attendees insight on how to:\n\n \n\n(1) Understand the essential role mindsets play in organizational performance\n\n \n\n(2) Identify and develop specific mindsets that they can adopt and promote to enhance organizational performance\n\n \n\n(3) Awaken the mindsets that they personally possess and evaluate how these mindsets support the goals of the organization\n\n \n\nBy participating in this discussion\, you and your leadership team will be empowered to become a more valued strategic partner and positive change agent in your organization.   \n\n \n\n \n\nSPEAKER PROFILE \n\nRyan Gottfredson\, Ph.D.\n\n \n\nRyan Gottfredson\, Ph.D. is a mental success coach and cutting-edge leadership consultant\, trainer\, and researcher. He helps improve organizations\, leaders\, teams\, and employees improve their decision making\, effectiveness\, agility\, and culture through a focus on mindsets. \n\n \n\nRyan has published over 15 articles across a variety of journals on topics related to leadership\, management\, and organizational behavior. He is currently a leadership and management professor at the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics at California State University-Fullerton (CSUF). He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources from Indiana University\, and a B.A. from Brigham Young University.
