\nSince the City of Industry&rsquo\;s incorporation in 1957\, the City has grown\, with close to 3000 businesses\, into the economic hub of the San Gabriel Valley. Investment in infrastructure\, traffic\, and public safety has continued to be a strong commitment from the City in efforts to increase the quality of life and encourage enterprise to flourish. In 2019\, the City was recognized as one of the top five \; most business-friendly cities in Los Angeles County with an environment for businesses to thrive.

\nIn addition to the city&rsquo\;s history\, leadership from the City of Industry will share highlights from the past year and an outlook for 2020. City staff will also brief attendees on the current status of development projects including commercial\, Industrial\, and infrastructure projects.

\nThe Industry Business Council will present results from the BizFed Pulse Poll\, which includes key findings on the top priorities and concerns for local businesses. New initiatives underway\, such as business tours and manufacturers&rsquo\; roundtables\, will also be highlighted.
