DESCRIPTION:Please join the IBC Board of Directors and City of Industry leadership for the "Annual State of the City Address" on Wednesday\, January 15th\, 2020 at the Pacific Palms Resort.  This year's State of the City address will honor the City's history of humble roots.\n\n \n\nSince the City of Industry's incorporation in 1957\, the City has grown\, with close to 3000 businesses\, into the economic hub of the San Gabriel Valley. Investment in infrastructure\, traffic\, and public safety has continued to be a strong commitment from the City in efforts to increase the quality of life and encourage enterprise to flourish. In 2019\, the City was recognized as one of the top five  most business-friendly cities in Los Angeles County with an environment for businesses to thrive.\n\n \n\nIn addition to the city's history\, leadership from the City of Industry will share highlights from the past year and an outlook for 2020. City staff will also brief attendees on the current status of development projects including commercial\, Industrial\, and infrastructure projects.\n\n"The City is unique\, both for its designed purpose and more importantly\, for maintaining its mission during times of massive external changes and initiatives from the State and other governments\," said Cory Moss\, Mayor of the City of Industry.  "We are committed to continuing the purpose of this City and to the businesses that provide jobs and enterprise to the entire region."\n\n \n\nThe Industry Business Council will present results from the BizFed Pulse Poll\, which includes key findings on the top priorities and concerns for local businesses. New initiatives underway\, such as business tours and manufacturers' roundtables\, will also be highlighted.\n\n \n\nJoin the Industry Business Council\, City Officials and Business Leaders for our Annual "State of the City" Address. This informative overview provides updates on the City of Industry's current and planned projects occurring throughout the City for the upcoming year.\n\n  This is an opportunity for the business community to hear first-hand from City Officials about city and regional projects aimed at improving business.
