SUMMARY:2022 State of the City Address: City Update Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:City of Industry Mayor Cory Moss\, the City Council and the Industry Business Council will be hosting the 2022 State of the City Address on Wednesday\, March 16 at Pacific Palms Resort. \n\n \n\nThe theme of this year's event is: "The Next Chapter" as the city celebrates the recent publication of its book\; IMAGES of America   City of Industry.  The book was written by retired city council member and former resident\, Jeff Parriott.  A copy of the new book will be provided to attendees and Mr. Parriott will be present for signing.    \n\n \n\nThe presentation will begin with Mayor Moss's update regarding important projects\, accomplishments and programs implemented in 2021 and city's vision for "the Next Chapter" in the city's history.  Several City of Industry businesses will be featured in short videos throughout the program sharing their stories and positive vision for the future.  City Manager\, Josh Nelson will provide updates and images regarding infrastructure projects and IBC Executive Director\, Joanne McClaskey will share details on the "Made in the City of Industry" campaign.  \n\n \n\nThis year's agenda begins with refreshments and a social hour to reconnect with city officials and business associates.  Representatives from local organizations which work in support of city businesses and the surrounding communities will be present to share information regarding their programs and services.
